RAR Secrets Video Lesson 1, Introduction
READ ME First
Welcome to your RAR Secrets Video based Course!
As this is a video based course, you will need to turn your sound on, or use a headset.
Above is your first video lesson, so after reading this message, click on Video Lesson 1, RSC Lsn 1.mp4, above.
As these lessons follow on from each other, it is important that you watch them in order from this first video, then only skip any lesson you are already familiar with.
As a paid member you will be able to start and stop these video lessons at any time by clicking on the white triangle, and you can set the volume level with the speaker symbol
On the bottom right you can use the Cog symbol to adjust the video speed and change the Video Quality, the Open Box changes the screen size.
When each video is completed you can then move on to the next video in this course, as they are listed on the left of the video, with a cloud symbol before each video.
As many of these video lessons include multiple lines of code. Below each video you can access their download to save you typing them in, to test and modify for your own use. For some of them you may need to click on the download link to the right of the link.
Note that .bat files will appear as lines of text on your screen, so you have to save them as a .bat file to a new D:\ folder, or a USB drive, so they can then be safely run as a BAT file.
Also many Google reference links will be provided below later video lessons, so do click on them for reading and saving for later use.
In the RAR Command Line course I included my four RAR.exe "Cheat Sheets" that provide a quick reference guide to the RAR Users' Manual that is located in your C:\Program Files\WinRAR\ folder as rar.txt. They are updated with each new version of RAR & WinRAR.
Those "Cheat Sheets" are also downloadable in Lesson 2, if you have not already downloaded and used them.

This upgraded course now includes our members RSC Discussion Area!
If you have any questions or problems about the contents of this RAR.exe RSC course, your Discussion area is there at the top of each page, for you to ask them, and I will also be there to help you.
There you can ask any questions about using RAR.exe, and then soon you will be able to answer new RAR user's questions! And you are very welcome to add any suggestions, improvements or additions for this course, as well as keeping in touch with other RSC members.
Then we can all continue to learn more about making the best use of RAR.exe from each other!
Your teacher, Selwyn Arrow
